Summer

Today in good 'ol Oklahoma the weather was absolutely amazing.
72 degrees to be exact.

I want summer. Now.

I have been whining that I only get 2 weeks off for Christmas Break here at BYU
but if you think about we get out of school April 22.
Um, hello that means four solid months of summer vacation.
I can deal.

I just want to soak up the sun, wear flip flops & shorts, be tan, drink slushies from QT, relax,
and play all day in the water.

Lately

Loving being home for Christmas Break! The food has been great, free laundry, and spending time with the fam has been great!
I get to play with my cute new dog Boomer:)

CHRISTMAS: Derek spoiled me and got me this amazing North Face. I am in love. It is amazing. I also got North Face snowboard pants from the rents and I am stoked about those. Brighton here I come! I also got a TomTom so that I wouldn't get lost in Provo. I am having a hard time :) I spent a couple of hours at the Brown's house and I just love all of them. They are all so nice! I love each and every one of them. Seriously. I hope they are ok with me coming into the family eventually ;) I sure can't wait!

I got to talk to this one on Christmas Day! I was so happy :) We didn't get to talk alone for very long- like 5 or 6 minutes - and I was super upset about that but atleast we got to talk right? I miss him terribly and am counting down the months till he returns! 20 to be exact :)

Tonight we are going to the Thunder v. Mavericks game! I am excited!

till next time..

Christmas Eve

Saw this..
{the Nutcracker}

It was SO amazing. The guys can do the highest leaps and turns I have ever seen! Everyone makes it look so effortless. Their lines and arches are impecable it blows your mind. It really made me miss ballet. I might have shed a tear or two. Dance is a way of life and I miss every aspect of it! To say the least, I was completely absorbed into the show that it flew by and it was time to go before I knew it.

Family Tradition...

{Christmas Eve bowling}

Had a fabulous time bowling with a bunch of friends.

Missing this one at Christmas...

Serving the Lord in Seattle.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Food for Thought

Freshman year first semester has definitely had its ups and downs. A lot more downs than I wanted and I thought were gonna happen. I have learned so much about myself already just in these few short months I have been away. I have learned to not live in the past because it just brings you down and there is nothing you can do or say to change it. You can't worry too much about the future because it changes with every ticking of the clock.
Just be happy with what you have here & now.

L'avenir

This is the start of a beautiful friendship.

I started this blog, honestly, so I could have some place to vent that probably nobody would read. It will just be a combination of things that happen to me good & bad, pictures of fun times with the roommates, aspiring photos of a future wedding, and somewhere to write down all the crazy things that happen.

Happy Blogging!
